How Frontmate works

Frontmate is an AI receptionist that answers your phone when you can't. Here's how to get started.

1. Sign up via text

Send your name and trade (e.g. "Mike Plumbing") to 0468 081 880. You'll receive a welcome SMS with setup instructions.

2. Set up call forwarding

Forward your missed calls to the Frontmate number. This is a one-time setup on your phone.

iPhone & Android:

Open your phone app and dial:

*61*0468081880#

Press call. You'll see a confirmation. That's it.

This forwards unanswered calls only. Calls you pick up are not affected.

3. Never miss a lead

When a customer calls and you can't answer, Frontmate picks up. The AI greets the caller, collects their name, number, what the job involves, their location, and when suits them. You get an SMS summary within seconds of the call ending.

4. Call them back

Check your text messages, see the details, and call the customer back when you're ready. No more lost jobs, no more playing phone tag.

Will callers know it's an AI?

The AI speaks naturally and introduces itself as your assistant. Most callers won't notice the difference.

What if I answer the call myself?

Call forwarding only activates when you don't answer, are on another call, or your phone is off. If you pick up, nothing happens.

How do I cancel?
