1. Service Description
Frontmate provides an AI-powered phone answering service for Australian trade businesses. When you cannot answer an incoming call, Frontmate answers on your behalf, collects the caller's details, and sends you a summary via SMS.
Frontmate uses artificial intelligence, not a human receptionist. The AI may occasionally make errors or misunderstand callers.
2. Accuracy Disclaimer
While we strive for accuracy, Frontmate does not guarantee 100% accuracy in call transcription, information collection, or message delivery. You should not rely solely on Frontmate for business-critical communications.
3. Limitation of Liability
Frontmate is not liable for any business losses, missed opportunities, or damages resulting from missed calls, inaccurate transcriptions, or service outages. Use of the service is at your own risk.
4. Information Collection
During calls, the AI may collect the following information from callers: name, phone number, job description, address or suburb, and time preferences. This information is sent to you via SMS and stored securely.
5. Data Retention
Call records and customer details are retained for 12 months from the date of the call. After this period, data may be automatically deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
6. Billing & Subscription
Frontmate charges $30 AUD per month via automatic renewal. Billing occurs on the same date each month. An optional Smart Setup service is available for a one-time fee of $100 AUD.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your service remains active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.
8. Third-Party Services
Frontmate uses the following third-party services to deliver our product:
- Twilio (telecommunications)
- Deepgram (speech-to-text)
- Anthropic (AI language model)
- OpenAI (text-to-speech)
- Stripe (payment processing)
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
